The Moroccan tea

The Moroccan teapot is the master of the Moroccan gastronomy . You can find it in ceremonies , special events , and on a daily basics .

Tea culture :

It is the must have for Moroccan families , you’ll find it probably in every home !

Different shapes and tastes :

As I said previously , tea has an important culture impact , so to represent it  Moroccan  artisans create different  shapes , colours , decorations ..

the several tastes of tea depend on the geographic zones : for example “Sahraoui tea” (the south) , the preparation is so delicate , long and complex. but it is so tasty . And in the north of Morocco , you will have a huge glass of tea , with some extra mint leaves and stunning jasmine and an orange flower flavour

Moroccan design patterns

Probably , When you visit Morocco ( especially the old cities : Fes , Marrakech , Rabat , …) , you’ll  definitely notice in different areas a collection of shapes , colors , patterns collected and organized in a very artistic and harmonic way .

// Shapes , and colors :

From neutral tones to vibrant shades , plus uncountable shapes . All those compositions can create a nice oriental atmosphere .

// Architecture and texture :

The geometric patterns could be found in ceramic , stone , plaster , wood , … and then transformed to decorate mirrors , ceilings , furniture , and doors .

// Historic background :

The influence of  Islamic art , and arabesque decoration  have been produced in the 7th century .

In Islamic countries , and particularly Morocco , geometric decoration has taken such a great importance .
